Grief and Bereavement Ministries

All of us at some time in our life will experience the death of a loved one. During the period of grief and adjustment that follows a death, the church and its pastors will continue to be available for support. Our developing bereavement ministry includes phone calls, notes and cards and a special book series entitled Journeying Through Grief in the year following a death. Special seminars are planned throughout the year on topics related to grief and loss.

Grief Share

We have begun a support group for those who have lost loved ones. The program is entitled GriefShare and involves informational presentations through videos as well as fellowship and support. All who would like help walking through the valley of grief are invited and encouraged to participate. Contact Joan Hogge for information.
